Our History: The club was originally formed in the early 1960s and used land that was unofficially ceded by the owner. Times changed and the owner had a requirement for the land the club was using. In the early 1970's a search for lease-able land was launched. Some 7 and a half acres of crown land were available in the Skutz Falls area and it was decided to lease this land. After the lease was obtained a club house was in order. To this end an 1500 sq ft log structure club house was built with volunteer help and donated materials. When this was completed a couple of trap houses were added as well as a 100 yd rifle range. Added to this range area was a pistol range as well. Currently these facilities serve the approximately over 100 members and have done so for the past 20 yrs. |
